I told you yesterday that true self-esteem comes from asking Jesus Christ to save you from your sins and to take over your life. Now, what do you gain when you do this?
- To all who did accept Him and believe in Him He gave the right to become sons of God (John 1:12) Because of His love, God had already decided to make us His own children through Jesus Christ. That was what He wanted and what pleased Him (Ephesians 1:5)
- He has given us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly world. (Ephesians 11:3)
- Jesus has the power of God, by which He has given us everything we need to live and to serve God. (2 Peter 1:#)
- I leave you My peace: My peace I give you. I do not give it to you as the world gives. So don't let your heart be troubled or afraid. (John 14:27)
- God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that whoever believes in Him may not be lost but have eternal life (John 3:16)
- And you are healed because of His (Jesus Christ's) wounds. (1 Peter 2:24)
- These are some of the benefits of accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior. We have the right, and we do become the children of God the Father. He was very happy when this happens. We have the power to live a godly Christian life of service. He gives us peace no matter what, we have eternal ofe and healing. And He promises never to leave us. If that doesn't give you confidence, I really don't know what will!!
