Children Are A Gift From God (Sharon's first post

I greet you in the wonderful Name of Jesus, our soon coming King. My name is Sharon. It's so nice to be 'live' on Blogger, and to share my thoughts and opinions with those who would read my blog. If you have already read my profile, you would see that I am an aspiring writer. My books that I have written and intend to publish will be novels dealing with social issues that children face at home, at school, in the community, wherever they go. As I am a believer in Jesus Christ, my books' contents will be bible-based.

You may be saying to yourself, "who are you, and what makes you think that you are qualified to write about this?" Well, besides having a BA in Guidance and Counseling, I am a concerned adult that have seen the increase of horrible child abuse in my country and around the world. It makes me angry to know that children can be so horribly treated. I believe that it is my God-given trust to help children and their caregivers to protect these precious ones from harm.

This blog, like my books, will deal with these delicate and controversial issues from a biblical worldview. I hope that children - and adults who have been abused as children, will find help and release and God's comfort as I bring God's solution from His love letter to us, "the Bible!"
